BC #44: Color Combination Kaleidascope Card!

I Love experimenting with color, don't you? This week's Blogger's Challenge was to create a card or item using the following Stampin' Up! colors: Chocolate Chip, Brocade Blue, Certainly Celery and So Saffron. What a great Combination!

I had to make a Kaleidoscope card. I just had to. These cards look so hard, but are so easy to make -- this one even earned a "OH, HOW AWESOME!" from a 14 year old boy (and believe me, he normally does NOT think anything I do is awesome!). Kaleidoscope cards are the online bonus for the Technique Junkie Newsletter for the current April issue. If you are a current subscriber, you know how I made this -- if not, you could have access to this and the other 71 techniques that will be published in 2008 online for only $9.99! Sorry, even I am allowed a commercial now and then...

I took a couple of shots so that you could visualize the depth of this card. I took one closed, one head-on, and one from the top, so that you can see that it is very dimensional.

Okay Technique Junkies, I have a challenge. I am ONLY posting it here.

Make a kaleidoscope card by midnight Saturday May 10th and send it to me via email. I will RANDOMLY select one card as the winner, and you will receive the NEXT CD -- CD 6 -- absolutely free when it is released at the end of the summer. That is a $14.95 value, just for making a card. I will post ALL the cards in a slide show, but the winning card will be posted separately.

So what are you waiting for?

What a fun card Pat. I wish I had time this weekend to take you up on your challenge, but alas, I have several projects that HAVE to be completed first. You did a great job with the challenge. Love the large fleur stamp...it really highlights your image!

Great card Pat. It has been a long time since I have done one of these. Not sure I will have time this weekend but if I do I will try. Would make a beautiful Mother's Day card. By the way, I love the ribbon on your card, very pretty.
