May Stamp Release and Celebration

I am so thrilled to announce the release of the May 2019 Technique Junkies stamps! We have a plethora of beautiful stamps to present to you, and we would love for you to join us for our release celebration today. All of the Technique Junkies Designers are participating in the release. Their artwork is beautiful, and I encourage you to check out their beautiful designs. All of the links are below the artwork.

As with all our releases, the May 2019 release stamps are 15% off through May 8th. Simply add them to your cart and the stamps will be discounted at checkout.  What a great way to get new stamps at a reduced cost!

Before I post the links, here are a few projects I made with the designs...

First, I have used the Bride with Bouquet and the Bridal Thank You Set on this card. My son is getting married in a few short weeks, and I made 80 of these cards for my daughter-in-law (to-be) as thank you notes for her showers. I love the Bride image, of course, but the Bridal Thank You set is pretty special -- the sentiments in that set are great for ANY thank you, with a beautiful, elegant font.  It is easy to pair the "Thank You" sentiments with the "for your generous gift", "for all your help" or "for joining us."  It really gives this set a terrific range of use.

Next I have this card that I made using the You as a Grandmother Sentiment.  I simply inked this gorgeous stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, and put the sentiment over it.

After I lifted the inked stencil from the paper for the card above, I spritzed it with water and placed it face down on another piece of paper.  This is the background for the Define Success card below. I really like the shadow effect here:

Another of the cards I made uses the Live in Color Stamp. I used Nuvo Glitter Markers to direct-to-stamp to color it, then I paired this with an inked Peacock Feather Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs (available from Technique Junkies):
I had a bit of fun creating both the feminine cards, above, AND more masculine cards this month.  For one, I used the Golf Club Patent stamp, colored with Copic Markers, and paired it with one of the sentiments from the Let's Play A Round Set (previously released):

This was the first month in a long time that I made something from EVERY set we are releasing. I really look forward to showing you everything else I made as the month progresses! This Friday I will put together a video of all of the artwork from the designer from the month -- it is incredibly inspiring.

Ready for more? Check out the celebration participants below, then make sure you take advantage of the 15% discount on the new May release stamps before the discount expires May 8th. We have several new designers: Kia Gibson and Jessie Banks, and Lee Ann Barrett is with us again, too!

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you are inspired by the new stamps and artwork this month!
