Welcome to the Hop!

Today we are celebrating the Stampin' Companion CD Tutorials. We wanted to show you that the CD is for everyone -- you will find many inspiring techniques on the CD using ANY stamps and materials!

If this is your first stop, take a moment to start at the beginning at the Design Team Blog. Starting there, you will see Judy's gorgeous art, and continue on with Six other people until you are back here. If you arrived from Lisa's blog, you have arrived in the right place!

Today I chose to do the Swing Out Card, one of the 70 tutorials on the Stampin' Companion CD. I used stamps from Rogue Redhead Designs -- I think this is a great "girlfriend card"! As you can see from the photo below, the front panel swings out (um, hence the name...).  It is a cool 3D effect that allows it to sit on a table for display. This is also my card for Blogger's Challenge this week - Going 3D.

Although the Stampin' Companion CD was made with all Stampin' Up! products, I hope our blog has shown that the tutorials are perfectly paired with other companies, too. The CD is $17.95 ($19.95 for overseas) and has 70 pdf, step-by-step tutorials. How can you go wrong with that?

Since you spent some time with us today,  it's time for the reward! Simply leave comments on the blogs, and here, and on Tuesday morning (March 13) I will pick one lucky winner randomly who will have their choice of ANY two TJ CDs. You can choose the Stampin' Companion, 3D and Fun Folds, Stampbooking, Emboss or Die, Fancy Folds and Motion, OR ANY of the 9 annual CDs. It is your choice! (NOTE: The Specialty CDs in any combination can be ordered from the TJ Home Page.

Thanks for stopping by today -- hope you were inspired! Make sure to leave a comment here to enter the CD giveaway.

Pat! What fun hopping around! Your card is gorgeous! Love the colors, style & 3-D look! If I truly had to pick a favorite technique on this "hop"?? I guess, it would be a toss up between Jane and Hetty.. I love the batik-look that the Reinker Spread Technique gives on Jane's cards! Hetty's 3D Shadow Technique and Cosmo Box really caught my eye, too! Oh... I guess I will go with Jane's technique as my favorite. I love that she showed how easy this technique can be accomplished by including her granddaughters in her creative designs! Thank you for the opportunity to win! I have all the CDs up until a few years ago. I have been going through family/personal health issues and my stamping has been on back burner. I really want to get back into my stamp room and play with TJ!! -- many hugs -- Karen R.

Beautiful card Pat! Love the colors you used. I was procrastinating on this cd as I thought it was more exclusive to SU products. Guess I have to put it on my jobless budget list to purchase in the near future. Thanks for a great newsletter and inspiring hop.

I think this is my favorite of the day. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us. I want to take the time to say how much I love the Technique Junkie newsletters, too. I go back and read over them all the time. I don't have this new CD but I have all the rest. There is nothing more fun than to pop those CD's in and see what kind of talent can rub off on me! Thank you for such a quality newsletter and for the great easy to understand CD's.

Oh wow, I love your card. I'm a big fan of vintage, and using black and white coloring. Love those stamps too. This is a great technique that I will have to try, and I do have the CD and love it! Thanks for such an inspiring blog hop with beautiful creations from everyone!

Love your swing card. I can see lots of possibilities with this layout. Really fun hop. I had my Stampin Companion CD open as I hopped along. That way I could pop over and look at the instructions for each of the techniques the designers used. I think it was double the fun that way!! LOL. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for all the ideas from this blog hop. I for one am not a big SU girl so I don't normall by things that are made for SU stamps and such, so I love the way you've showcased the ideas using other (non-SU) stamps and papers.

Lovely card. I tried to leave a comment on Chris' and Lisa's blogs, but it wouldn't allow me to do it. I don't have a Google Account or OpenID, so I guess I don't quality for the prize. As I recall once before I tried to enter and Chris' blog wouldn't allow my comment without a Google Account or Open ID
