2 Sizes Smaller

 The sentiment on our 2 Sizes Smaller stamp is something almost everyone wishes for! Less wrinkles and shrinking two sizes -- that would be the best! I stamped it, colored it, and layered it on patterned paper, then cut pieces from the patterned paper to add more interest. The stamp is available from www.techniquejunkies.com.

Making a witch

 Normally the Zoe stamp is super sweet - but add a black hat and a snarky sentiment and anyone can have a Resting Witch Face! I fussy cut her and the sentiment, then layered her over a spider web embossing folder from my stash. Both the stamps are from www.techniquejunkies.com.

Dancing Skeletons Whoop It Up!

 

The Technique Junkies Dancing Skeletons make a great background for the Whoop stamp! Since no-one can read this without singing it, why not add the dance, too! Both of the stamps are from the September 2024 release and are available from www.techniquejunkies.com.

The background was colored direct to paper with Catherine Pooler ink, and the Whoop image was cut and layered with circle die cuts, with a strip of black glitter tape to highlight the sentiment further.

Passport Travel

 

Today I return from Portugal after a 10 day vacation - so I thought a travel card would be a great way to celebrate our return!

To make our colorful passport card, I used the Adventure Awaits Stamp set along with the A Passport stamp. Back to reality for me!

Wish Big!

 Today's CAS card uses the Wish Big sentiment from the Bold Birthday Wishes set along with the Clear Birthday stamps from Aladine. This fun birthday card is simple, yet so pretty! Both the stamp sets are available from www.techniquejunkies.com.

Beautiful Squirrel

 How can you not love this sweet little squirrel? It is a perfect representation of fall with the Smaller than Creature sentiment. On this card, I colored the squirrel image and fussy cut it; then I layered it over wood patterned paper that was stamped with the sentiment. This is so cute that its nuts!

Overlapping leaves

 This sentiment has so many meanings! As part of the Beautiful Trees set, it has whatever meaning YOU assign it. The background uses the Overlapping Leaves stamp, which were sprayed with Aladine Dye Ink Spray. Everything is available from www.techniquejunkies.com.

Appreciate Everything

 Today I dug deep into my stash of premade backgrounds and pulled out this Aladine ICE Mosaic Sun Stencil background. Although the ICE has been discontinued, you can get a similar effect with Glitter Paint, Ink Blending, and other mediums. The greeting from this card is from the Beautiful Trees set. Simple and colorful, the background truly makes a great companion for the great sentiment.

Let's Party, Birthday Cat!

 For today's card, I pulled a stamp from the way-back archives! Today I used the Technique Junkies Birthday Queen stamp with one of the stamps from the Bold Birthday Wishes Sentiment Set. I love the whimsical look of this image - it is so much fun! I layered our colorful Birthday Cat over an embossed star background. Let's Party!

 This just makes me laugh! Today's card couldn't be simpler - patterned paper and a quick die cut stamp. Whoop! There it is!

The Halloween Scene

Making Halloween cards is always so much fun -at least they're fun when the images aren't too frightening! My card today is spookily Halloweenesque without being too cutesy. The top panel uses some of the stamps from the Halloween Scene stamp set. The sentiment is the Halloween Paint stroke stamp from the September Technique Junkies release. ACLD Skeleton Leaf Beautiful Trees

 So in full disclosure, this is a background I made a couple of years ago that I was holding on to for just the right finishing touch. This sentiment fits that bill!

The leaf on this card is from an ACLD stencil. The leaf mask and the background have both been sprayed with shimmer spray. The sentiment is from the Beautiful Trees Set from Technique Junkies. This is a gorgeous card in person -- the shimmer is amazing!

Family runs deep

 

Such an impactful sentiment, right? This is one of the sentiments from the Beautiful Trees Set of 6 newly released from Technique Junkies. I am sending this to one of my siblings.

The background uses the Bare Branches background. This card was so easy to make - all the color comes from the paper, leaving the focus on the depth of the sentiment. Both the sentiment set and the background stamp are 15% off now through September 8th at Technique Junkies.

 If you have kids still in school, this time of year comes with bittersweet moments. The end of summer, the beginning of a little bit of craziness, and time juggling, and sometimes even relief! A Little Crabby

 Our simple little crabby card uses the Crazy Crabs stamp along with the A Little Crabby Sentiment from the Crabby Set. The ink was brayered direct-to-stamp stamp using a homemade, multicolored ink pad. This is a great card for any Curmudgeon in your life - or just to send an apology.

Hippie Border in Dimension

 I had so much fun making the Hippie Flower border extend up and out! I stamped to border once on the background, and then again on another cardstock piece. I then cut individual flowers from the border and added dimensionals to pop them off the page! Both stamps (Hippie Flower Border and Good Vibes stamp set of 8) are available from Technique Junkies.

 Ready for an Adventure? Our Adventure stamp banner is the perfect sentiment for this masculine fishing card, using the Fisherman in Motion stamp. The background is randomly brayered inks. This is a great greeting card for any angler in your life!
