Triple Message Shadowbox
Sometimes you just get hit by inspiration and you have to let it out. That is how I felt when I created this tutorial. I love shadowboxes, but I wanted mine to do more -- this one does, times three! This is one of the 25 techniques on the Move It CD: Triple Message Shadowbox. Here is the card with the messages inside:
Pretty enough, right? Then each of the two sides pull out for this:
Isn't that fun? I am actually teaching this technique at two upcoming Rubber Stamp Shows: Stamping by the Sea in Ocean City MD, on April 5th, and the at Stampfest Orlando at the end of June. If you are in the area, check out the websites and come see us!
The Move It CD has 25 tutorials and is $9.95. It has a companion CD, too -- Shape It. That CD has another 25 tutorials on it, and is $9.95 also. If you buy both, they are only $17.95 - and you will save on shipping, too!
There is a link for ordering on the sidebar of this blog, or, if you prefer, you can go to the Move It - Shape It page and order from there.
Have a great weekend!

Bookshelves - Club Scrap Blog Hop
Welcome to the hop! Today is the monthly Club Scrap Blog Hop, and we are celebrating the Bookshelves March kit. If you arrived here from the CS Blog, you have come to the right place. If not, you may just want to go back there to start again, since the list of all the bloggers are there.
I have to say, this kit is pretty cool. It has elements for books, but it also has map elements. And since I am currently working on pictures from our Vienna trip a few years ago, this paper couldn't have come at a better time!
Okay, it's time for you to move on with the hop. Your next stop is Julie Heyer:(http://capecodscrapper.blogspot.com/) -- I know you will love what she made!
I hope this hop inspires you. Have a great day!

I decided to make this simple layout with the paper and embellishments from the kit (click on the layout to see details, if desired):
After I made that layout, I did this one:
I had to borrow a piece of navy paper from an earlier kit, but I the colors worked great with my layout! don't you just love that ribbon?Okay, it's time for you to move on with the hop. Your next stop is Julie Heyer:(http://capecodscrapper.blogspot.com/) -- I know you will love what she made!

Special Announcement (and a card, too)
If you are a subscriber, you may have noticed a change to the Subscriber-only pages in the last three days -- all the tutorials for the February issues are now in PDF format. Over the years my website host has become cranky and glitchy, and it was difficult to print some of the tutorials. Now you can print them easier than ever! All of the 2013 issues will be in PDF format, and I will be going back and changing the older PDFs as time permits, to help those of you who have purchased the online-only option access the tutorials easier. I hope you like this change!
The card below uses the Block Fill Tutorial from the February 2013 issue. If you have not visited the online site in the last few days, go test drive the new change -- and let me know what you think of the change!
All stamps on this card are from Marks Finest Papers.

Sometimes we just like to make it simple.
If you love simple techniques with a bare-minimum of supplies, then this is for YOU. I am pleased to announce the launch of a new concept for the Technique Junkie Newsletter: Remix CDs. Let me explain!
Remix CDs contain previously-published techniques from our 10 years newsletter content. They do not contain any brand-new unpublished content, rather, they are similar to a "Best Of" music CD.
The first CD in our series of remix CDs is available for ordering today:
