It's a Treasure Hunt!

December always brings a bounty of gifts and this season is no different. This week, the Technique Junkie Newsletter designers and writers have come together to give you a bounty of eye candy celebrating the December 2009 Technique Junkie Newsletter issue! If you started here, you may want to stop reading this post for a minute or two, and go to the Technique Junkie Blog, where the festivities start. As you follow along the path of the Treasure Hunt, you will collect clues...which will eventually take you back here.

When you have finished all the clues, simply leave a comment with the word "key" you have discovered -- and you will be entered for this month's hunt.

Hey, I bet you want to know what the treasure is this month!

Well, we start with this gorgeous paper pack from Club Scrap:

And then we have this HUGE 8-1/2 x 11" red rubber stamp sheet - packed with over 35 images and perfect for inchies -- from Innovative Stamp Creations:
Then we have this elegant alphabet set from Clear Artistic Stamps:
And finally, I have this gorgeous Set of 5 stamps from Art Neko:
I hope you love this eclectic collection as much as I do. If you do, and you have followed the clues, you will need this letter to complete your journey: S

Now simply leave a comment by Friday, December 4th at 9am EST. Make sure to leave the "key" to the hunt with your comment -- the letter clues you collected along the way. The winner will be selected on Friday morning. Make sure that you leave enough information so that I can contact you to let you know you won. Note that I have comment moderation on -- so you will not see your comment appear, either. Just a reminder that Blogger does NOT leave me your email address. A great way to do this is to leave your email address in a spelled-out way, such as "p huntoon at optonline dot net." I will use my handy random number generator to pick the winning entry. You do NOT need to be a TJ subscriber to win. Good Luck!

Congratulations to Deb Langdon, the winner of this Treasure Hunt!

Weekly Giveaway - Clear Artistic Stamps!

Give me Liberty or Give me death!
I love the 4th of July -- it always fills me with pride to be part of this great nation. Not only that, but I am a sucker for fireworks and barbeque's! Burgers, Beer and Big Booms. Yes!

As we approach the American day of pride in our Independence, it is fitting that we give away stamps to commemorate the occasion! Today's giveaway sponsor is Clear Artistic Stamps.

I combined 3 of the stamps from the sheet of 12 that we are giving away with some Faux Iris Folding stars (June 2009 edition of the Technique Junkie Newsletter). I also used the Drywall Stitching Technique from the April issue of the Newsletter on the card. Here are the stamps for the giveaway:

Remember that there is a 15% discount offered to Technique Junkie Subscribers by Clear Artistic Stamps (just email your order to info@belindalandtroop.com and tell her that you are a TJ member) Also this week Clear Artistic Stamps is having a pre-4th of July Sale and the Holiday Celebration is included at a great price. Just $7.49 for 12 stamps, making them only 63 cents each! How’s that for a Hot Summer Deal? In addition, the Midsummer Mist Paper Collection has wonderful colors for the July 4th Celebration.

When you leave your comment to win this sheet, let me know which of the holidays on the sheet is YOUR favorite and why (I love reading your comments, can you tell?) if you are so inclined.

Whether or not you leave me a holiday message, you can win these stamps and the card by leaving a comment on this post by Sunday, June 28th by midnight EST. Make sure that you leave enough information so that I can contact you to let you know you won. Just a reminder that Blogger does NOT leave me your email address. Another Clear Artistic Card: Snakeskin

I just liked the Clear Artistic Stamps from the giveaway so much yesterday that I had to make another card today. This time I used the Snakeskin Technique from the October 2008 issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter and made a little flap front for an extra message. I adore the way this turned out. It's funny -- I always think that I "don't do cute". I guess I DO, don't I?
In any case, these stamps are on sale right now at Clear Artistic Stamps until Tuesday October 21, 2008 for only $8.95!

Wonderful Wednesday Giveaway: Clear Artistic Stamps

Halloween scary? No way! This card was made with terrifically fun stamps from Clear Artistic Stamps, our Wonderful Wednesday Giveaway sponsor this week.

The main panel of this card was colored with pencils and gamsol. It is layered on a purple piece made using the Cuttlebug Highlights Technique from the October 2008 issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter. The ribbon was colored using Starburst Stains and dried (it is GORGEOUS in person!). I love how bold the colors are together in person -- the purples, the bright green on the Cuttlebug portion, and the shimmer to the ribbon are just perfect with the fun feeling of the stamp.

So here are today's stamps, called Autumn Treats from Clear Artistic Stamps:
