I love the graphic look of the background stamp in the October Club kit. It was perfect for the Blocked Background technique from the August 2013 issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter. I used a little marker to add color to the background.
Have a great day!

Take Wing - Club Scrap Blog Hop
I am pleased to be part of the Club Scrap Blog Hop for the September Take Wing Kit. This kit is colorful and lively and it was a joy to work with. If you started here, you might want to take a minute to go back to the Club Scrap Blog to start the hop over, so that you have an up-to-the-moment list of all the bloggers in the hop.
I decided to create a box filled with note cards as a gift for one of my fox top, friends. To create the box top, I used one of the printed strips from the embellishment kit to create a Grouted Tile Mosaic lid. The cards themselves were a snap to make, too, and I have plenty of paper left over to create many gorgeous scrapbook pages!
Tune in tomorrow for a card made from the stamps in the kit, too.
In the mean time, on with the hop. Your next step is Julie, the Cape Cod Scrapper. Enjoy the hop!

CD11 Blog Hop!
Today we are celebrating the release of the newest Technique Junkie Annual CD: The Eleventh Edition CD. The CD contains all the tutorials from the October 2012 through August 2013 issues, plus 10 bonus techniques - a total of 100 tutorials. All that for only $14.95!
You should have arrived here
from Hetty‘s blog. If this is your first stop, you can start again be going to the Design Team blog HERE. (http://techniquejunkies.blogspot.com/).
I decided to make a card from one of the Bonus Techniques: Paint Chip Bricks. I love this funky stamp (Inky Antics), and she looks great with the Wild Sentiment (Mark's Finest Papers) and the Animal print ribbon. I think the paint chips set her off beautifully!
The CD is
available for order TODAY by clicking here (http://www.techniquejunkies.com/Cd11.html). The CD
will be shipped next week.
This CD contains a pictorial
index that you can print out -- each of the 100 tutorials on the CD are
represented with pictures in the index. The index is here. It was been designed to make it easier
than ever to find a tutorial on the CD.
