Weekly Giveaway: Stamp Attack UK

If you have never seen the wonderful selection of stamps on the Stamp Attack UK site, then you are in for a treat! Stamp Attack UK is today's giveaway sponsor, and I am proud to reacquaint (or introduce) you to this outstanding stamp company. Now I know what you are thinking. A stamp company in the UK? You are going to be pleasantly surprised!

Stamp Attack's stamps run the gamut from elegant to cute (just LOOK at those birdhouses on the front page of her site!!!). The set we are giving away today is a vintage set (below). For my card, I used these stamps with the Clear Coat Collage Technique (June 2009 issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter).
The owner of Stamp Attack is Carol Clements, a long-time TJ subscriber. She would like to offer you a special deal: Anything you order on her site this week is 10% off AND you have free postage! To take Carol up on her offer, simply email your order to her at craftyccc@googlemail.com , mention the code TJ986 in your email to her, and she will send a Paypal invoice direct to you.
It couldn't be simpler!

To win this set and card, simply leave a comment by Sunday, July 19th at midnight. The winner will be selected Monday July 20th. Make sure that you leave enough information so that I can contact you to let you know you won. Just a reminder that Blogger does NOT leave me your email address. A great way to do this is to leave your email address in a spelled-out way, such as "p huntoon at optonline dot net." I will use my handy random number generator to pick the winning entry. You do NOT need to be a TJ subscriber to win. Good Luck!

Congratulation to Karen Deerborn for winning this giveaway!

P.S. Look for Stamp Attack UK stamps in the upcoming issue of RubberStamp Madness this month, too. I feature these stamps in the article I did for my Tips and Technique Column for using spray starch.

Wonderful Wednesday Give away - Stamp Attack UK

Elegant Fun. That is how I think of this week's cool giveaway from Stamp Attack UK. The card you see on the left was made from the cool stamp sheet above (our giveaway this week). Whether you are based in the US or abroad, you MUST check out this company! There is a plethora of wonderful, elegant, classy stamps on this website...and the best part is that Carol is offering FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE this week for you! Just mention that you are a Technique Junkie when you order and the postage will be refunded to you.

The card I made for the giveaway this week uses a variety of techniques. The child was stamped with chalk ink and colored with pencils to give her more color and oomph. (I was impressed -- these Stamp Attack UK stamps are thick rubber, and make perfect images!) The triangle along the side uses the Cuttlebug Smoosh Technique from the October 2007 TJ Newsletter; the background uses the Distress Dragging Technique from the February 2007 issue of the newsletter.

All those techniques, and you know what took me the longest? Stringing the dang beads! They do look cool when the card is picked up, though -- I guess ONE of you will find that out when they win this giveaway!

Okay, want to know how you can win these stamps?

Give away a day -- Day 26

We are closing in on the end of the month, and as we do, I am a little sad to see the give aways go away! Thank you to so many of you who have helped me celebrate the Technique Junkie Newsletter's 5th Anniversary so far. I hope you will stick around for the next 6 days while we wrap things up. Today, we have something VERY exciting for you!
There will not be one winner today --THERE WILL BE TWO!

Today's give away sponsor is Stamp Attack UK -- they are the maker of the stamps used on the two cards shown in this blog entry. Stamp Attack UK has the most gorgeous stamps -- and the two winners will be able to pick out one plate apiece from the site as their prize! Why don't you go ahead a take a look at what Stamp Attack UK has to offer and figure out which plate you would pick if you win!

For this give away, I will have the trusty number generator spew out two numbers -- the first person picked will receive the card at the top of this post. This card was made using the Expressionist Pearls Technique from the 6/07 TJNL issue-- it is VERY shimmery in real life! In addition, they will have their choice of a Stamp Attack UK plate of unmounted stamps. The second number pulled will receive the card on the left (and below) which uses the Quilted Dimension technique from the Bonus Techniques on the 5th Edition Technique Junkie Newsletter CD, The Kimono is puffy and dimensional -- and has been covered with Gel pens. In addition this winner will also have their choice of one Stamp Attack plate. Now you have two chances to win!
