Throwback Thursday: Watercolor Birds

Throwback Thursday brings us to this pretty card using the Technique Junkies Watercolor Birds stamp from 2017 - If you like to color or watercolor on your cards, this stamp is for you! The sketchy style is so pretty with this image. I paired mine with the Trust Your Journey stamp (I probably would have used something else today, but this is a throwback card, after all. Who know what I was thinking in 2017?)

In any case, both stamps may be found here:

Jumping Fish

The Technique Junkies Jumping Fish Linograph is perfect with the Swirly Waves background! Both are easily colored with just a few swipes of ink and are perfect for masculine cards - or any fishing enthusiast! Both the stamps are found here:

Sarcastic Housewife

I had this cool background using the Linen Dots stamp jus sitting on my desk for the last week or two - I was creating classes and this was a sample piece. I also had the Happy Housewife stamped from some classes I held last year - so what to do? Put them together! Our Sarcasm stamp is a perfect way to finish the card, too. All three stamps are here:

My Sister My Friend

The Flower and Wing Silhouette rubber stamp by Technique Junkies is unique because the flowers and butterflies on the silhouette are open, ready for light coloring. Here I used glitter markers/pens to make them pop. The sentiment is My Sister My Friend, and the bottom herringbone portion is washi tape. The two stamps may be found here:

Big Bold Flowers as a smaller panel

This card uses the Technique Junkies Old World Script stamp as a background, and is topped with just a short panel portion of the Big Bold Flowers background stamp. I originally did this cardin all black and white, but that pop of color is everything! Both stamps may be found here:

Shopping Online

I love how the Mid-century Borders stamps are so versatile - whether used alone, together, or as a background, they add instant interest. In this example, I used them as a background and colored them with markers, then topped it with the Shopping Online Sentiment. The wine glass is from the Wine with Friends Stamp Set. All of the stamps may be found here:

Friendship Flowers

Our new Flower Sweep Red Rubber stamp has a little secret - the flowers face in several directions, so you can place the sweep in whatever orientation you need. I liked it in the top left when used with this sentiment from the Lavender Friendship Sentiments Stamp Set. The image was colored with colored pencils and Gamsol. Both stamps may be found here:

Jumping fish

Looking for a masculine card? This one should fit the bill! Our Jumping Fish Linograph rubber stamp is aweome for any fisherman (or fisherwoman)! I stamped it twice so I could pop up that fish, too, and added a bunch of shine with Glossy Glaze, adding to realism. The stamp is 15% off through March 8th, too.

The sentiment here is from the Born to Fish stamp set. Both are here:

Flowers are Like Friends

Our pretty Flower border has so many creative uses. Today I paired it with the Flowers are Like Friends stamp.I added some of the lilies to the top panel to add more color. Both stamps are here:

Faith Requires Trust

Our new Faith Requires Trust rubber stamp is perfect with our praying hands stamp. The Faith stamp is 15% off through March 8th, too. You can find both stamps here:

No Good Advice

Oh just slight anounts of snark here... Today I used the newly released Mid-Century Modern Borders rubber stamps over dye-sprayed background (Aladine IZINK dye Ink Spray). I added one of the (previously released) dudes from the Stud Muffins stamp set, then I toped it off with one of the sentiments from the new Inside Out: No Good Advice, set of 10. All of the stamps may be found here:

Big Beautiful Flowers

Our Big Bold Flowers background is equally pretty whether you are coloring each of the flowers or just adding color id an alternate way. Here the ink was added to different spots of the rubber stamp directly before stamping, acheived using mini ink pads. Using this technique is great for people who do not love to color! Both the Big Bold Flowers and the Feel like Sunshine stamps are part of the March new stamp release and are available here:
