Let's Pawty Birthday

One of my dog-loving friends is celebrating a birthday and I had a blast making this fun card for her. The dog and words are from the Let's Pawty stamp set. I colored the dog with colored pencils, and outlined the Happy Birthday words with Kaisercraft Glitter Gel Pens. I love these pens - they write like a dream, smoothly and with just the right amount of glitter. (I love them so much that I use them to write checks, make lists, and just simply write - I just can't help myself!)

 And that background...I simply placed a Multi-Chevron Stencil (A Colorful Life Designs) on white cardstock and sprayed it with Mardi Gras and Dolphin Cove Shimmering Bliss Sprays.  It is so shimmery - and, well, just HAPPY!

Nice work with the sprays and stencil. I was curious as to what the bg was--it's so pretty. Wow, you really do like your pens if you're writing checks with them. I love your card and used this stamp myself to make 8 cards to sell at work. There are a lot of animal lovers where I work.
