This week's Blogger's Challenge was to use the card on page 108 of Stampin' Up!'s new Idea Book and Catalogue for inspiration. I have to say, I am not very good at copying and stealing because my submission looks NOTHING like the original! I just have to put my own spin on it, I guess. Maybe I will go back to the drawing board and try again...I like this card, in any case!Stamps: Stampin' Up!, Baroque Motif; White, Blush Blossom and Not Quite Navy Inks and Cardstock; White Gel Pen; Ribbon.

You are indeed an inspiration. I have wanted to start a blog but haven't done it yet. I got stuck when I couldn't figure out how to create a neat blog banner with my blog name. Anyway an e-mail you sent me has inspired me to begin scrapbooking again. I have finished several pages since then. Thank you for your encouragement.

That's funny! I often start with "inspiration" (ie with CASEing), and it ends up very different from the original!
It's a beautiful card, though. I adore those colours, I've always loved browns and neutrals. I have the hardest time using brights!
And I love a more formal look like this, but still up to the minute in style.
