Scrappy Spots
Confession time. I made this card in JUNE. Yes, June. I just didn't post it...I meant to. Yes, week after week I thought about this card. It really is pretty in person, and I have been hoarding it for myself! Time to let it go. Comment on this post and I may just send it to YOU!
'kay now. The card uses the Scrappy Spots Technique from the June 2009 issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter. The Stamps are all Stampin' Up! stamps. Not a great scan...but a pretty card IRL!

Great card Pat, I'm sure there is nothing wrong with hoarding, we all do it ;-)
This card is BEAUTIFUL, Pat! I love birds and the sentiment is so sweet.
Hope you are catching your breath and everything is calming down for you : )

thanks for the chance!
I love bird stamps and therefore bird cards, I would love to add this one to my keeps that hang on a wall. I feed the birds too - my DH says I spend way too much money on bird food, but as I said I love birds what else can one do about it but collect them and watch them.

Lovely card Pat! Go ahead and share what you've been working on this summer and get caught up (catch your breath too). We'll still be here. :)

I had to hunt you down to comment on this - I couldn't find a link in your post. And . . . it was well worth hunting for, LOL. Lovely card - would love to get it!

So glad you took a break.
LOVELY card. Just lovely. No WONDER you're hoarding it!
Linda:)
Nature is always a favorite of mine and the colors you used were awesome! As for posting late, better late than never. Thanks for sharing.

OK...I've never seen you do "crappy" anything. Yup...the pic isn't the best, but hey...it looks good to me. It looks like the bird might be a Robin. Ok now, who better to send it to than me...Rockin Robin...might be "cheeky like a magpie", but that's my "fuzzy logic" for the day!!! Hisses, Rockin Robin Caldwell
I love this! I love tbirds so much anyway and this is one of the techniques I want to try but have not yet gotten around too so pick me! Kathy Eddy
Beautiful card. You saved it until the right time as it is very appropriate for Fall.

I can see why you are hoarding it! LOL! I would too if I had it!

I know people usually think of birds as spring things, but they make me think of the fall too! Your card is delightful!

Love this card. Pat, I need a favor. I can't find that issue of the newsletter. Is it possible for you to email the password to me?
You were thinking Fall colors in June--wow! It's a lovely card, Pat.

Beautiful card! It makes me think that here in MN our robins will soon be migrating south for the winter. Safe journey!
