Cuttlebug Highlights meet Bandanna...

I should not be buying stamps. Ever. I have billions. But I can't resist! I was in the stamp store purchasing chalk refills (ahem, junkies, that may be a December hint) when this Happy Halloween stamp just jumped out at me. I knew that this cool Cuttlebug folder had been calling me for a week or two -- so I just had to have the stamp (by Inkadinkadoo) so I could make a happy marriage between the two. My creation combines the Cuttlebug Highlights technique (October 2008 Technique Junkie Newsletter) with the Bandanna Technique (August 2008 newsletter). This time, though, I used a Souffle Pen to out line the embossed areas. Did I mention that those pens jumped into my basket, too?

My highlighting on this is not perfect, but I am reveling in it's imperfection...Happy Technique Blitz.

Hi Pat, this is a perfect pairing of two techniques. Love it! Things are always jumping into my basket while shopping too, LOL!

Very cool Pat! I got that stamp last year - it jumped into my basket too...along with a couple others. ;-)

It's funny how that darn little stamps jump right into our shopping carts. Your card is awesome. I love how you combined these techniques.

Love the combined techniques! I'm afraid I may have to do something about these jumping stamping supplies if this financial crisis continues. I was at a scrapbooking event at Pat Catan's and a bunch of Cuttlebug folders and dies jumped into my basket along with some inkpads. It's amazing how well these supplies jump. We're going to have to start a new olympic event for them. LOL

Great card! I see the Cuttlebug frame in the background, but I''m not familiar with what you used for the central frame around the stamped words. Pray tell! thanks
