Doily Delight

Warning! This card does not use a technique from the newsletter...but I hope you will appreciate it in any case!  The closest it comes is the Deconstructed Collage Technique from the December 2010 issue of the TJ Newsletter....so let's say it is that :)

This Doily from Stampin' Up! just begged to be deconstructed and popped. I added SU's lace punch to the top, too, and used one of the new colors (Wisteria) which is gorgeous with the Concord Crush cardstock. If you like this card as is, believe me, it is 100 times prettier in person!  Here is a side view:

I was fortunate to stamp with some great stampers last week -- my dear friend Nancy Hill -- who has an infectious laugh and a wicked sense of humor -- and Rhonda Sands, who I have known online but just had the great fortune to meet. The two of them, along with their friends Lois and Donna, liked this card so much that they each made one before we left.  Oh, I should amend that -- Nancy did NOT make one. She HATES doilies. She did admit, though, that she almost likes this card -- if only it didn't have the doily on it! (You might want to click on Nancy's name to read about the first day we spent together stamping - she is a rascal!)

Have a great day, and take some time to laugh today!

This is so pretty! Is this 2 different doilies or 2 doilie dies? Nicest doily card I've seen. bluemoonbynite at yahoo dot come
