I grew up on a farm and raised chickens for my 4-H project several years. I learned a lot and got paid well for the chickens when they won blue ribbons but it was a lot of work with very stupid animals. I still love to EAT chicken. I only have 3 chickens now and when they die I don't think I'm going to replace them, I'll just buy eggs at the store!elainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08101403348137220014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5282791759531760793.post-50870107870133615542009-07-21T21:41:27.897-04:002009-07-21T21:41:27.897-04:00beautiful card Pat!! love the slightly dark colors...beautiful card Pat!! love the slightly dark colors :)Ethahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09715345612393712487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5282791759531760793.post-20387440138123701702009-07-21T09:40:02.639-04:002009-07-21T09:40:02.639-04:00Lovely mix of patterns Pat! I love the image but not the real thing, unless it's just the chicks. We used to have a chicken coop when I was little. The baby chicks are so fuzzy and cute but the adult chickens are, well, chickens. I love your card and the quilting is perfect!
