Bookshelves - Club Scrap Blog Hop

Welcome to the hop! Today is the monthly Club Scrap Blog Hop, and we are celebrating the Bookshelves March kit. If you arrived here from the CS Blog, you have come to the right place. If not, you may just want to go back there to start again, since the list of all the bloggers are there.

I have to say, this kit is pretty cool. It has elements for books, but it also has map elements. And since I am currently working on pictures from our Vienna trip a few years ago, this paper couldn't have come at a better time!

I decided to make this simple layout with the paper and embellishments from the kit (click on the layout to see details, if desired):
After I made that layout, I did this one:
I had to borrow a piece of navy paper from an earlier kit, but I the colors worked great with my layout! don't you just love that ribbon?

    Pat, I just love when you find the perfect kit for photos you want to scrap. The added detail of the lamp post looks beautiful as an embellishment with this kit!

    I love how the colors of the collection complement your Vienna photos...reminds me of the old, old, CS papers I used for our Germany trip. Lovely pages, Pat!

    Love how you coordianted another paper and didn't necessarily get stuck on the kit title. Don't you love just how versatile each month's kit is. No need to get hung up with kts title every month. I'm telling you Club Scrap "saved my memories" just by existing then with ALSB. Im convinced I would have given up long ago.
