Give Away a day - Day 8 --Double Celebration!

So, okay, where is the prize? Isn't that just the eye candy? HUH?

Well today's prize is a little different...and I hope you like it.

As my friend Lisa Somerville has been hinting at, today is my birthday. There, I said it. Are you happy, Lisa?

Well, now that the cat is out of the bag, I have a give away that I think I am a little nuts for offering. It must have been all the birthday cake last night!

Today's give away is this: The winner of this Give Away will receive a card a week from me for one full year. Yes, you read that right. If you win, you will receive 52 cards....one card a week for the next 52 weeks. How is that for a celebration? I will start week one with the card above : )

Speaking of the card above, it started as a giraffe card. WHAT? Do you see a giraffe there? Don't strain your eyes, there is not a giraffe on that card. As soon as I made the Double Pocket Fold from the October 2007 issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter, I just knew I had to grab the True Friend Stamps from Stampin' Up!. Oh well, I still have 23 cards to make for the rest of the month -- maybe I will get a giraffe on one of them!

...and I know some of you will ask, so I will tell: I am 29 plus a high schooler. And yes, my DH totally spoiled me -- he made me dinner last night, and gave me the most beautiful leather jacket -- it fits like a glove! My 11 y/o and 14 y/o sons both spent their own money for my birthday gifts, too -- one gave me a pocketbook and the other gold earrings. That always touches me so much, because you can tell they really think about the things they give me -- I am proud of their generousity.
