Blogger's Challenge 16 and Give Away Day 12

It's Friday again, and time for Blogger's Challenge 16 -- and again I am combining it with the Technique Junkie Newsletter Anniversary Celebration Give Away a Day. First, about the weekly challenge...

This week we were charged with making an ornament. I chose to make a Triangle Shaker ornament, an adaptation from the Triangle Shaker card in the December 2006 Technique Junkie Newsletter. The original instructions came from our friends at www.pennywisearts.com. It is rather hard to see in the picture, but the snowflakes on the acetate were colored with Gelly Roll Glaze Pens, a technique from WAAAY back -- Gel and Acetate from the August 2004 issue. The snowflakes have a great raised texture.

This card will be sent to the winner of today's Anniversary Give Away a Day!
